In February 2023, the MHUCC Youth Group and our families and friends set out across the boarder to Mexico to build a home for Mario, Nubia and Jaziel (3 years old) working with Casas de Luz. It was a wonderful experience. Starting with a concrete pad on Saturday morning, we worked until Sunday lunchtime, framing, painting, sawing, hammering, and finally decorating. We wished them every happiness in their new home. And then we returned to ours.
