Pastor of Visitation

12 hours per month, plus worship; reports to Senior Pastor

Mission Hills United Church of Christ (MHUCC) seeks a Pastor of Visitation based in San Diego, California. The Pastor of Visitation will be responsible for providing pastoral care and regular visitation to members of the congregation, especially those who are unable to participate in worship or in the life of the congregation due to health concerns or physical limitation, whether short or long term.  They will provide pastoral care when the Senior Pastor is unavailable.  They will equip lay members to assist when possible.  It is very important to note that our members of all ages include individuals who are LGBTQ.
