Second Saturday Series – check for times
This series every second Saturday of the month features speakers especially geared to issues faced by older adults, including “Aging vs. Finding the Right Home,” “Issues in Death and Dying,” as well as interesting topics like a presentation from the League of Women Voters on ballot issues.
Men’s Group – every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Commons
Our Men’s Group meets for discussions of life and faith every week. In addition, they sponsor pancake breakfasts and make cranberry sauce for our Thanksgiving feast every year!
Lunch with the Pastor – Noon in the Commons
Bring a brown bag every 2nd Wednesday and enjoy fellowship and conversation.
Yoga
Gentle Yoga in chairs on Saturday mornings in the chapel – 10:00–11:30 a.m.
Mat Yoga on Thursdays in the chapel – 6:00–7:00 p.m.
Civil Rights Pilgrimage
Join us for a pilgrimage to Selma, Montgomery, Birmingham, and Atlanta September 22-28, 2025. In advance, we will discuss books and subjects of interest.
This is a joint trip of MHUCC and Pilgrim UCC in Carlsbad. Contact the pastor for more information
Half-Day Spiritual Retreats
Periodically we offer Saturday morning retreats with such experts as Dr. Elisabeth Koenig on topics like Julian of Norwich
Gratitude Group
For four Wednesdays every January, start the new year right with 15 minutes for gratitude on Zoom – Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
