Upcoming Events
Saturday February 28 – Sunday March 1: Home Building in Mexico with Casas de Luz.
Saturday April 4, 12:30 – 2:30 pm: Volunteering at the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank Warehouse in Miramar. We will be cleaning, inspecting, sorting, packing, and labeling food products and assembling food boxes for low-income and/or senior food programs. Registration will open March 4.
Saturday, April 18- Sunday, April 19, 2026: (provisional – with your new Director of Ministry with Youth) Youth Group Camp-Out.
What We Do:
Friday Meetings
Dinner, discussions, speakers, games, art, service projects and more!
One Friday per month, 6 P.M. to 9 P.M.
Sunday Meetings
Youth starts the morning off with the entire church community in the Sanctuary before splitting off for our own program in our Youth Lounge.
Sundays, 10 A.M. to 11 A.M.
Service Trips
We ignite our compassion and broaden our perspectives through weekend-long and week-long service trips such as building homes in Mexico with Casas de Luz or summer work trip with the Sierra Service Project.
2 or 3 times each year
Service Projects
Lead by the interests of our Youth Group we have volunteered at the San Diego Food Bank, participated in canyon and beach clean-ups, worked at animal shelters, and raised money for the social, environmental, and social justice causes we care about.
At least once a month
Confirmation
When youth decides to formally join our church, we follow the UCC “Confirm, not Conform” curriculum that is integrated into Sunday meetings throughout the year.

Inter-Faith Community Visits
Annual visits to communities of different faiths. We engage in necessary dialogue to develop better groundwork for empathy in different people.
