Hymns and Beer is coming up on Saturday, October 7, 6:30-8 pm in Fellowship Hall! Come one come all as Kris Abels, Director of Instrumental Music, accompanies our hymn selections on piano. We'll call out our favorite hymn title, then sing with gusto!

Snacks and munchies will be provided with a variety of juice and soda too! You're invited to bring your own beer🍺to imbibe (if desired) as we sing our favorite hymns together. This is always a good time! Hope to see you.

World Communion Sunday is this Sunday, October 1,

World Communion Sunday is this Sunday, October 1, and the our Mission Partner for October is UCC Neighbors in Need. We hope to see you in church this Sunday and that you'll consider a donation.

This year, the Neighbors in Need “BEHOLD!” theme continues. This year’s focus is on environmental justice. Plastics, electronics & other non-compostable wastes are being shipped across, and even tossed into, our waterways, launched into space, as well as buried in landfills. As people of faith, we believe these egregious acts are sinful and unholy. We must be better stewards of our planet!

One-third of the World Communion Sunday offering supports Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM). Two-thirds are used by Justice and Witness Ministries to provide grants to UCC churches and organizations as well as supporting a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts & direct service projects.

We have supported Monarch School in the past - it's a trauma-informed and strength-based community where students can persevere through the trauma of homelessness that has affected them and their success in education. They offer an innovative approach to learning for kids in K-12 that cultivates the whole student and gives students the skills and tools they need to overcome these odds.
