The April Monthly Mission Partner = Feeding Missio

The April Monthly Mission Partner = Feeding Mission Hills! 🍊🥕

This monhtly food distribution is happening tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16 -- and it happens every third Tuesday of each month. The program distributes ~150 bags of fresh produce & a protien each month.

What does the food cost? The produce cost has ranged from $800-$1100 per month. The protein varies between $300-$400 per month.

The Faith in Action budget supports the purchase of the protein. The fresh produce is paid for by donations from many individuals, both church members as well as community members.

You can support this ministry in two ways:
▶ You can come and volunteer. The setup, packing and clean up takes around 2 hours. No experience necessary!
▶ You can donate to the Food Program. There is a separate MHUCC Holding Fund where the contributions are held and used to pay for the food we hand out.

The Pancake Breakfast fundraiser is happening this Sunday, April 14th, starting at 8:30 am. Indulge your taste buds while supporting a fantastic cause! This is a fundraiser for the UCC Western Regional Youth Event -- helping cover registration costs for our youth and chaperones.

Feeding Mission Hills Free Food Distribution is next Tuesday, April 16! The distrubution will start about 10:30 am. Its best to arrive by 11:15 am to ensure you get a bag full of fresh produce, a protein & usually a bakery item as well. 🍊

The Mission Hills UCC Church is located at 4070 Jackdaw St. The distubution happens in the parking lot. ID required. Second back with second ID. Two bag maximum.
